In our inaugural year as a school, Katherine Nance has not only managed the rigorous demands of her classroom but has been foundational in contributing to the development of the entire school’s culture. In her role supporting students receiving special education services, she demonstrates an unparalleled commitment to individualized success. She meticulously develops and implements highly effective behavior plans and writes comprehensive IEPs, ensuring that her students thrive. Her impact extends beyond the special education department, as a co-leader of the PBIS team, she has been instrumental in creating and implementing the schoolwide behavior system that defines our climate.
